If your crews are using chemicals and you have not trained HazCom, you’re gambling with citations, injuries, and downtime. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires a written program, proper labels, SDS access, and employee training under 29 CFR 1910.1200 and 29 CFR 1926.59.
That applies directly to disaster restoration and reconstruction contractors working with disinfectants, solvents, adhesives, coatings, fuels, and specialty cleaners. Training is not optional, it’s what keeps jobsites controlled and crews protected.
Contact Ascent Restoration Solutions for HazCom training, hazardous materials training, large loss project management training, and OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour construction training. Taught by industry veterans with real-world disaster restoration experience. IICRC Continuing Education Credits available with training.
